How to use

Circulatory issues & lymphatic drainage:
Dilute 3 to 4 drops of mastic tree essential oil in 1 teaspoon of calophyllum (tamanu) carrier oil. Massage gently into the affected area.

Raynaud’s phenomenon:
Blend the following oils: 1 drop Mastic Tree essential oil + 1 drop Immortelle essential oil + 1 drop Thyme essential oil + 1 drop Patchouli essential oil + 1 drop Tarragon essential oil + 2 drops Mandarin essence. Apply topically to the affected area 2 to 3 times per day, as needed.


Sinus congestion / sinusitis: Use by inhalation, diffusion, or diluted in a carrier oil. Apply gently over the sinus area.

Varicose veins:
Mix 1 drop of mastic tree essential oil with 3 drops of calophyllum carrier oil.
Optionally add 2 drops of nepita essential oil for a cooling effect and 1 drop of immortelle essential oil.
Apply locally to the affected area 3 times per day until symptoms improve.

Heavy legs:
Massage morning and evening, working from the ankles upward.
Blend: 1 drop Mastic Tree essential oil + 
1 drop Peppermint essential oil + 
1 drop Niaouli essential oil + 
1 drop Juniper essential oil + 
1 drop Cypress essential oil8 + 
3 drops Arnica carrier oil

Prostatitis: Dilute with a suitable carrier oil and gently massage the lower abdomen.

Directions for use

This essential oil can be used in many different ways, depending on your needs.
It may be inhaled using an essential oil diffuser or by adding a few drops to a bowl of hot water.

It can also be used for massage, by diluting a few drops in a carrier oil such as coconut oil or sweet almond oil.

Oral use and therapeutic inhalation should only be undertaken with professional guidance. Consult your physician before use.

Contraindications

Mastic tree essential oil must be diluted before use, as it may irritate the skin if applied neat.
It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Use with caution in individuals prone to allergic reactions.
